Ninth-ranked MKS Znicz Basket (9-11) gave a tough game to third ranked ISS Sportino (15-5) in Inowroclaw. ISS Sportino managed to secure only two-point victory 73-71. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But MKS Znicz Basket won fourth quarter 24-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where MKS Znicz Basket used huge pressure winning it 24-15 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 4-6. 24 personal fouls committed by MKS Znicz Basket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Aleksander Lichodzijewski (202-84) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Lukasz Zytko (181-81) contributed with 13 points and 8 assists for the winners. Forward Przemyslaw Szymanski (198-84) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and forward Andrzej Misiewicz (201-84, college: Daytona Beach CC) added 15 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for MKS Znicz Basket. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. ISS Sportino have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Sokol Lancut. MKS Znicz Basket lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost.
