Very expected game in Golbey where 16th ranked Get Vosges (7-14) was defeated by eighth ranked Orchesien BC (11-10) 80-70 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 36-25 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Get Vosges was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Swingman David Cilly (196-81) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and guard Emilien Barbry (188-83) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was naturalized Mali forward Tahirou Sani (204-85) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and naturalized American forward Danny Strong (199-75, college: N.Carolina St.) scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Orchesien BC and four Get Vosges players scored in double figures. Get Vosges' coach Laurent Mathis tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Orchesien BC. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Get Vosges lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixteenth position with 14 games lost. Orchesien BC will face league's second-placed Denain Voltaire at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Get Vosges will play against Denek (#9) in Bidart.
