A very interesting game took place in Pesaro. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Pepsi Caserta (8-10) to ninth ranked Scavolini Pesaro (9-9) 83-82 on Sunday evening. Scavolini Pesaro shot 60.9 percent from the field and made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Puerto Rican guard Guillermo Diaz (188-85, college: Miami (FL)) who scored 19 points. Lithuanian power forward Tautvydas Lydeka (208-83) chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Fabio Di Bella (187-78) who recorded 19 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Jumaine Jones (202-79, college: Georgia) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Four Scavolini Pesaro and five Pepsi Caserta players scored in double figures. Scavolini Pesaro moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Fabi Shoes and CS Bologna. Pepsi Caserta at the other side keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. Scavolini Pesaro's next round opponent will be CS Bologna (#6) on the road. Pepsi Caserta will play against the league's leader Montepaschi Siena.
