Very important is a road loss of third ranked Snaidero Udine (13-6) against ninth ranked Tuscany Pistoia (9-10) on Sunday night. Visiting Snaidero Udine was defeated by Tuscany Pistoia in Pistoia 84-72. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back getting tie in the second period and winning the second half and won the game by 12 points. Tuscany Pistoia forced 19 Snaidero Udine turnovers and outrebounded them 37-26 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Joseph Forte (193-81, college: N.Carolina, agency: JEMsports) who led the winners and scored 27 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import forward Jarvis Varnado (206-88, college: Mississippi St.) accounted for 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winning side. Four Tuscany Pistoia players scored in double figures. Tuscany Pistoia's coach Paolo Moretti used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
