SerieA top team - Montepaschi Siena (17-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Cimberio Varese (7-11) 82-59. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-59. Montepaschi Siena dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Cimberio Varese's 18. Montepaschi Siena forced 22 Cimberio Varese turnovers.
