An interesting game for Electra Ramat (13-5) which hosted in Hasharon second-best Maccabi Ramat Hen (12-6). Second ranked Electra Ramat managed to get a 7-point victory 81-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Maccabi Ramat Hen. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Electra Ramat looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Maccabi Ramat Hen helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for guard Shavonte Zellous (178-86, college: Pittsburgh) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Chante Black (196-85, college: Duke) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Five Electra Ramat players scored in double figures. Guard Ivory Latta (168-84, college: N.Carolina, agency: 540 Sports) replied with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Tiffany Jackson (191-85, college: Texas, agency: 540 Sports) added 15 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Maccabi Ramat Hen. Defending champion maintains second position with 13-5 record having four points less than leader Elitzur Ramla. Maccabi Ramat Hen at the other side dropped to the third place with six games lost. They share the position with Maccabi Ashdod. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
