Regular Season Round 24: TU/Rock - Voru KK 116-43

EMKL top team - TU/Rock (21-2) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Voru KK (1-23) in Tartu 116-43. The game without a history. TU/Rock led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Voru KK's 30. TU/Rock forced 35 Voru KK turnovers. The best player for the winners was international guard Rain Veideman (192-91) who scored 18 points. International forward Tanel Kurbas (197-88) chipped in 14 points. Five TU/Rock players scored in double figures. TU/Rock's coach Indrek Visnapuu felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Allar Velleramm (191-87) who recorded 9 points and 6 rebounds and forward Silver Kuuba (198-74) added 6 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Defending champion maintains first position with 21-2 record. Voru KK lost tenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 23 lost games. TU/Rock will meet at home TTU/Kalev II (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Voru KK will play against KK Parnu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
