Very expected game in Alcazar where 14th ranked Fundacion Adepal (7-15) was defeated by tenth ranked Girona FC (11-11) 91-73 on Friday. The game without a history. Girona FC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great shooting night for Girona FC especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. Guard Ignacio Ordin (184-78) scored 25 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Sergi Pino (196-87) chipped in 11 points during the contest. Four Girona FC players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Alvaro Frutos (188-87) responded with 17 points and 4 assists and forward Eloy Almazan (198-84) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Girona FC moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Fundacion Adepal lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 15 games lost. Girona FC will face La Laguna (#6) at home in the next round.
