There was no surprise when 12th ranked Porvoon Tarmo (4-30) was defeated on the road by third ranked Joensuun Kataja (23-11) 104-90 on Saturday. The game without a history. Joensuun Kataja led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Joensuun Kataja made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Joensuun Kataja outrebounded Porvoon Tarmo 35-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. The former international power forward Sami Lehtoranta (205-79) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners (made all of his seven free throws).
