Everything went according to plan in Tianjin where tenth ranked Zhejiang Cyclones (11-11) beat bottom-ranked TianJin Rongcheng (4-17) 104-97. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 31-17. But TianJin Rongcheng won second period 33-25. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zhejiang Cyclones shot 22 for 31 from the free-throw line, while TianJin Rongcheng only scored six points from the stripe. Zhejiang Cyclones brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. 29 personal fouls committed by TianJin Rongcheng helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
