Undefeated leader Olympiakos delivered the seventeenth consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 10th ranked Ikaros (7-10) 102-56 in Kalitheas. The game without a history. Olympiakos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Ikaros' 34. They outrebounded Ikaros 36-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. Olympiakos shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Ikaros' players. The best player for the winners was Israeli guard Yotam Halperin (196-84) who scored 22 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). International guard Vassilis Spanoulis (193-82, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 18 points and 8 assists. Four Olympiakos players scored in double figures. American guard Lans Harris (195-83, college: Kansas St.) produced 11 points and the other American import guard Kyle McAlarney (183-87, college: Notre Dame) added 9 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olympiakos (17-0) have an impressive series of seventeen victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 17 victories in a row. Ikaros lost third consecutive game.
