Very important is a road loss of third ranked Komarno (16-13) against tenth ranked Inter Bratislava (10-19) on Saturday night. Visiting Komarno was edged by Inter Bratislava in a tough game in Bratislava 81-84. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Komarno. Komarno was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 26-21 charge of Inter Bratislava, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Komarno's 32. It was a great evening for Serbian guard Nenad Milosevic (190-83) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 7 assists. Naturalized Ukrainian power forward Andrej Lukjanec (203-69) helped adding 21 points and 7 rebounds. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava's coach Oliver Vidin allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Johnathon Jones (183-88, college: Oakland, agency: Warren Sports International) responded with 21 points and 4 assists and Latvian forward Martins Berkis (199-85, agency: Warren Sports International) scored 19 points. Inter Bratislava maintains tenth place with 10-19 record. Komarno at the other side keeps the third position with 13 games lost. Inter Bratislava will play against higher ranked Prievidza (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Komarno will play against Levice (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
