LSBL top team - TTT Riga (20-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Cesis (3-17) 94-49. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Cesis. The game without a history. TTT Riga led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 23-of-29 charity shots (79.3 percent) during the game. TTT Riga forced 25 Cesis turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 12 blocks. The former international guard Anda Eibele (170-84) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. International forward Dita Krumberga (183-84, college: Mt.St.Marys) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five TTT Riga players scored in double figures. Power forward Lina Lisnere (192-86, college: Syracuse) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and forward Inga Geistarde-Zaporozeca (178-78) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Cesis. The victory was the twentiethth consecutive win for TTT Riga. Defending champion maintains first place with 20-0 record. Cesis at the other side keep the seventh position with 17 games lost. TTT Riga's next round opponent will be TTT Juniores (#4) in Riga.
