Regular Season Round 14: Arkadikos - Ermis Lagkada 71-75

There was a small surprise when eighth ranked Ermis Lagkada (7-7) won against 6th ranked Arkadikos (8-6) in Arkadia 75-71 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Arkadikos won third quarter 24-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Nikos Gamouras (202-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 8 rebounds. Center Giorgos Anagnostopoulos (207-80) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Miron Papadakis (183-88) replied with 14 points and 5 assists and Giorgos Mprozos added 11 points and 4 assists in the effort for Arkadikos. Four Arkadikos players scored in double figures. Arkadikos' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ermis Lagkada moved-up to seventh place. Arkadikos lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with six games lost. Ermis Lagkada will face higher ranked Ikaroi Serron (#3) in Serres in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
