Regular Season Round 32: Takamatsu FA - Sendai 89ers 60-72

Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Takamatsu FA (9-23) was defeated at home by second ranked Sendai 89ers (19-11) 72-60 on Saturday. The game without a history. Sendai 89ers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Mac Hopson (188-87, college: Idaho) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 7 rebounds and forward Michael Bell (206-82, college: Florida Atlantic) who added 16 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Sendai 89ers' coach Honoo Hamaguchi allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Chris Holm (212-84, college: Vermont) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and guard Rasheed Sparks (190-77, college: Morgan St.) scored 10 points. Loser Takamatsu FA keeps the ninth place with 23 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
