LEB Silver top team - CB Clavijo (16-3) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked ADT Tarragona (10-8) 89-76. The game was mostly controlled by CB Clavijo. ADT Tarragona was better in fourth quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by center David Mesa (200-80) who scored that evening 22 points and 7 rebounds and guard Enrique Suarez (185-83) supported him with 17 points. Even 19 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) by American power forward Edward Cage (203-78, college: Bradley) did not help to save the game for ADT Tarragona. Guard Xavier Guirao (190-87) added 16 points and 4 steals for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. CB Clavijo have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-3 record. ADT Tarragona lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with eight games lost. CB Clavijo will play against Promobys Tijola (#4) at home in the next round. ADT Tarragona will play against the league's second-placed River Andorra and hopes to get back on the winning track.
