Very predictable result in Jinan where ninth ranked Shandong Bulls (11-10) defeated 16th ranked Fujian SBS XunXin (5-17) 94-81. The game was mostly controlled by Shandong Bulls. Fujian SBS XunXin was better in second period 31-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Fujian SBS XunXin 46-34 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Myron Allen (180-79, college: Lee JC) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Center Ke Wu (209-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Shandong Bulls players scored in double figures. American swingman Andre Emmett (196-82, college: Texas Tech) answered with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and center GengLin Yang (208-88) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Fujian SBS XunXin. Fujian SBS XunXin's coach gave the chance to play for eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Shandong Bulls have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to eighth place. Fujian SBS XunXin lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth position with 17 games lost. Shandong Bulls' next round opponent will be higher ranked Guandong Tigers (#3) in Dongguan and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fujian SBS XunXin will play at home against Qingdao Double Star (#13).
