Very predictable result when third ranked Eiffel Towers (19-7) rolled over bottom-ranked Rotterdam (1-26) in Den Bosch 81-62. The game was mostly controlled by Eiffel Towers. Rotterdam was better in third quarter 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Eiffel Towers dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Rotterdam's 20. Eiffel Towers forced 19 Rotterdam turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American swingman Julien Mills (193-85, college: Ball St., agency: Warren Sports International) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Frank Turner (178-88, college: Canisius, agency: Court Side) helped adding 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Eiffel Towers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Daniel Jones (200-79, agency: R.H.Consultancy) with 21 points and 5 rebounds and Canadian forward Robbie Sihota (198-87, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Eiffel Towers maintains third place with 19-7 record having five points less than leader GasTerra. Rotterdam lost their thirteenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 26 lost games. Eiffel Towers will play against ABC (#8) in Amsterdam in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Rotterdam will play at home against the league's leader GasTerra in Groningen to get more than just one victory in their record.
