Fifteenth-ranked Mazzeo San Severo (5-15) gave a tough game to third ranked Snaidero Udine (14-6). The visitors from Udine managed to secure only three-point victory 58-55. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Mazzeo San Severo. Mazzeo San Severo was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 28-22 second half run of Snaidero Udine. Finnish-American forward Gerald Lee (208-87, college: ODU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). American guard Clint Cotis Harrison (194-76, college: N.Carolina St., agency: Court Side) contributed with 14 points for the winners. American forward Kaniel Dickens (203-78, college: Idaho) replied with 6 points and 9 rebounds and Bulgarian-FYR Macedonian guard Riste Stefanov (198-81, agency: Interperformances) added 12 points in the effort for Mazzeo San Severo. Snaidero Udine moved-up to second place, which they share with Fastweb CM. Newly promoted Mazzeo San Severo keeps the fifteenth position with 15 games lost. Snaidero Udine's next round opponent will be Assigeco BPL (#12) in Lodi and are hoping to win another game. Mazzeo San Severo will play on the road against Naturhouse Ferrara.
