Leader Hamamatsu Phoenix delivered the twentieth seventh victory on Sunday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Oita Heat Devils (15-19) 72-67 in Mikawa. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 72-67. The game was also dominated by American players.
