Regular Season Round 23: A.Ford Burgos - Breogan 83-82 OT

Twelfth-ranked Leche Rio Breogan (9-14) made lots of trouble for third ranked Ford Burgos (18-5) on Wednesday. Ford Burgos managed to secure only one-point victory 83-82. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Leche Rio Breogan won fourth quarter 23-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Leche Rio Breogan used huge pressure winning it 23-15 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 7-8. It was a great evening for American forward Jerome Tillman (198-87, college: Ohio) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Jesus Castro (190-83) helped adding 11 points and 4 assists. Dominican-American guard James Feldeine (193-88, college: Quinnipiac) responded with 29 points and center Oliver Arteaga (211-83) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Four Leche Rio Breogan players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ford Burgos have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Ford Burgos maintains third place with 18-5 record having just two points less than leader Obradoiro. Loser Leche Rio Breogan keeps the twelfth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Clinicas Rincon. Ford Burgos will meet bottom-ranked Ourense (#18) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Leche Rio Breogan will play against Girona FC (#6) and hope to secure a win.
