No shocking result in a game in Tartu where second ranked TU/Rock (22-2) smashed 7th ranked TTU/Kalev II (8-16) 100-74. The game was mostly controlled by TU/Rock. TTU/Kalev II was better in third quarter 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TU/Rock forced 22 TTU/Kalev II turnovers. It was a very good performance for naturalized Greek guard Sten-Timmu Sokk (181-89) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 6 assists. Forward Timo Eichfuss (200-88) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Mihkel Kurg (191-87) answered with 14 points and 8 rebounds and American center Andrew Arnold (208-86, college: Lewis-Clark) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for TTU/Kalev II. Five TU/Rock and four TTU/Kalev II players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains second place with 22-2 record behind leader Kalev/Cramo. TTU/Kalev II lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 16 games lost. TU/Rock will play against Valga/CKE (#5) on the road in the next round. TTU/Kalev II's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tallinn to the arena Kalev/Cramo.
