Very predictable result in Hangzhou where seventh ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (13-10) defeated bottom-ranked TianJin Rongcheng (4-18) 123-105 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 34-of-41 free shots (82.9 percent) during the game. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. TianJin Rongcheng was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Puerto Rican center Peter John Ramos (222-85) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and Taiwanese swingman Chih-Chieh Lin (192-82) who added 22 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Vernon Hamilton (183-84, college: Clemson) with 29 points and 8 rebounds and Ivorian-French power forward Herve Lamizana (207-81, college: Rutgers) scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Zhejiang Guangsha Lions and four TianJin Rongcheng players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Bayi. Loser TianJin Rongcheng stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will face Foshan (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TianJin Rongcheng will play against Liaoning Hunters in Yingkou.
