Regular Season Round 25: Voru KK - Parnu 75-84

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Voru KK's (1-25) home loss to eighth ranked KK Parnu (6-19) 75-84. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Voru KK won third quarter 23-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KK Parnu forced 25 Voru KK turnovers. Strangely Voru KK outrebounded KK Parnu 48-28 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Voru KK was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Toomas Raadik (198-90) who helped to win the game recording 27 points. Swingman Rannar Raap (187-92) contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. American guard Curtis Allen (193-85, college: ORU) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Silver Kuuba (198-74) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Voru KK. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KK Parnu maintains eighth place with 6-19 record. Voru KK lost their twelfth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 25 lost games. KK Parnu will play against higher ranked TTU/Kalev (#3) in Tallinn in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Voru KK will play at home against TTU/Kalev (#3) in Tallinn to get more than just one victory in their record.
