Very expected game in Comodoro R. where 13th ranked Estudiantes (5-10) was defeated by third ranked Gimnasia CR (12-6) 80-68 on Friday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Gimnasia CR made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Hakeem Rollins (202-83, college: Washington, agency: Dream Team Management) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. Nigerian-American power forward Reggie Okosa (206-80, college: La Salle) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. Four Gimnasia CR players scored in double figures. Gimnasia CR's coach Nicolas Casalanguida used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
