We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 13th ranked Pagrati (5-10) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Koroivos (5-10) 77-73 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 45-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for Serbian forward Predrag Kosanovic (203-76, agency: BeoExcell) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 9 rebounds. Serbian guard Marko Pekovic (193-81, agency: BeoExcell) helped adding 20 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Thodoris Vardianos (193-78) with 28 points and 6 rebounds and center Kostas Macheras (205-85, agency: FCM) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Koroivos moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Panerythraikos and Pagrati. Koroivos will face higher ranked Amyntas Dafnis (#10) in Athens in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
