The game in Oslo supposed to be also worth to mention about. 5th ranked NTNUI (3-12) played at the court of sixth ranked Nordstrand (3-10). Nordstrand smashed NTNUI 66-42. The game without a history. Nordstrand led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding NTNUI to just 6 points in second quarter. Nordstrand forced 19 NTNUI turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for guard Ellen Aas (-81) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 6 assists. Forward Kristina Kroge (-87) accounted for 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Charlene Gris came up with 13 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and guard Madelen Moore (-86) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for NTNUI in the defeat. Nordstrand moved-up to fifth place. NTNUI lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the sixth position with 12 games lost. Nordstrand will again play against NTNUI (#6) in Trondheim in the next round. NTNUI will have a break next round.
