Regular Season Round 18: Jeugd Gentson - Tulikivi Deerlijk 69-47

Date: February 19, 2011
The game with biggest result difference took place in Gent. Local Jeugd Gentson (6-11) outscored 10th ranked Tulikivi (4-13) 69-47 on Saturday night. The game without a history. Jeugd Gentson led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Power forward Lien Lentacker (184-90) fired 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Center Lieselot Malfait (190-87, college: IPFW) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Ann-Sofie Boucherie (175-81) produced 18 points and center Evelien Maes (184-80) added 6 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jeugd Gentson moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Houthalen. Newly promoted Tulikivi dropped to the bottom position with 13 games lost. Jeugd Gentson will face league's second-placed Sint Kateline Waver on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tulikivi will play against Blue Cats (#5) in Ieper.
