Regular Season Round 23: SKK Siedlce - Sokol Lancut 63-62

The game between third ranked Sokol Lancut (16-7) and twelfth ranked SKK Siedlce (8-15) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Sokol Lancut was edged by SKK Siedlce in a tough game in Siedlce 62-63. Sokol Lancut was trailing by 13 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 16-13 charge of SKK Siedlce, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for swingman Karol Debski (198-84) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Dawid Brek (185-89, agency: Promotex) helped adding 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Rafal Glapinski (183-82) responded with 16 points and 8 assists and forward Bartosz Dubiel (195-84) scored 16 points. SKK Siedlce moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Start Lublin. Sokol Lancut at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. SKK Siedlce is looking forward to face higher ranked Spojnia (#8) in Stargard in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sokol Lancut will play at home against Asecco Prokom 2 (#6) in Gdynia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
