Very predictable result when sixth ranked MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza (15-7) defeated on the road 13th ranked GKS Tychy (6-15) 83-67 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza. GKS Tychy managed to win second period 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was power forward Adam Lisewski (206-80) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Pawel Zmarlak (195-82) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. Four MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza players scored in double figures. MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza's coach Wojciech Wieczorek used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Pawel Olczak (195-81) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds and center Lukasz Kwiatkowski (207-79) added 16 points respectively for the hosts. MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza moved-up to fifth place. GKS Tychy lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza will meet at home Gornik (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. GKS Tychy will play against Asecco Prokom 2 in Gdynia and hope to secure a win.
