The game between Top Four teams took place in Gorzow Wlkp.. 3rd placed host AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (15-5) lost to first ranked Wisla Can-Pak (19-2) 68-57. The game was mostly controlled by Wisla Can-Pak. AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski was better in second period 19-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski 42-31 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Australian guard Erin Phillips (173-85) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. The former international center Ewelina Kobryn (193-82, agency: Data Plus Group) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. International power forward Izabela Piekarska (196-85, college: UTEP) came up with 14 points and 9 rebounds and international center Justyna Zurowska (188-85) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski in the defeat. Four AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski players scored in double figures. Wisla Can-Pak maintains first place with 19-2 record, which they share with CCC Polkowice. AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. Wisla Can-Pak will play against league's second-placed CCC Polkowice at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski will play against LKS Siemens in Lodz and hopes to get back on the winning track.
