Regular Season Round 21: FCB Regal II - Oviedo CB 67-84

The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked Feve Oviedo's (9-11) road victory over 9th ranked Regal FC II (7-12) 84-67. The game was mostly controlled by Feve Oviedo. Regal FC II was better in second period 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Feve Oviedo especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. American forward Ian O'Leary (201-86, college: St.Mary's, CA) nailed 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and naturalized Venezuelan power forward Javier Roman (207-80) accounted for 7 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Reginald Larry (201-86, college: Boise St.) came up with 14 points and 6 rebounds and guard Joan Creus (185-92) added 12 points respectively for Regal FC II in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Feve Oviedo maintains eighth place with 9-11 record. Regal FC II at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the ninth position with 12 games lost. Feve Oviedo's next round opponent will be higher ranked Basquet Mallorca (#3) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Regal FC II will play against Lan Mobel ISB (#15) in Azpeitia.
