Very expected game when 8th ranked Adelaide 36ers (8-14) were crushed on the road by third ranked Perth Wildcats (14-10) 82-62 on Sunday. The game without a history. Perth Wildcats led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Perth Wildcats forced 23 Adelaide 36ers turnovers. Adelaide 36ers were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American power forward Andre Brown (205-81, college: De Paul, agency: Priority Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Jesse Wagstaff (203-86, college: Metro St.) helped adding 12 points and 6 rebounds. Four Perth Wildcats players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international forward Adam Ballinger (205-79, college: Michigan St.) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Rhys Carter (190-84) scored 14 points and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Adelaide 36ers lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
