Not a big story in a game in Zgorzelec where 11th ranked SKK Kotwica (5-11) was defeated by third ranked PGE Turow (11-5) 89-80 on Sunday. SKK Kotwica trailed by 13 points at halftime and as many as 15 after three quarters before a 24-18 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 80-89 at the end of the game. PGE Turow made 29-of-38 free shots (76.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Robert Tomaszek (204-81, college: Texas Tech) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds.
