Miyazaki Shining Suns' road win over 5th ranked Saitama Broncos 101-91 was very exciting. The game was mostly controlled by Miyazaki Shining Suns. Saitama Broncos was better in fourth quarter 36-31. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Miyazaki Shining Suns looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Miyazaki Shining Suns made 7 blocks. Saitama Broncos were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American forward Elijah Palmer (201-81, college: Duquesne, agency: Court Side) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Brandon Cole (203-84, college: Xavier, agency: Global Sports Plaza) helped adding 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Kenny Satterfield (188-81, college: Cincinnati) responded with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 9 assists and guard Yuki Kitamuki (184-85) scored 21 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Miyazaki Shining Suns maintains eighth place with 12-22 record. Loser Saitama Broncos keep the fifth position with 20 games lost. Miyazaki Shining Suns will face league's leader Hamamatsu Phoenix in Mikawa in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Saitama Broncos will play on the road against Niigata Albirex (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
