The game between closely ranked teams ended with thirteenth ranked Asefa Estudiantes' (10-11) home victory over 14th ranked Lagun Aro GBC (8-13) 88-81. The victory was the third consecutive win for Asefa Estudiantes. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Gran Canaria and Unicaja. Lagun Aro GBC at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. Asefa Estudiantes' next round opponent will be Meridiano Alicante (#16) on the road which should be theoretically an easy game. Lagun Aro GBC will play against Assignia Manresa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
