LEB Gold round 24 caused change at the leadership position. Fourth defeat of league's leader Obradoiro CAB (20-4) against eighth ranked La Laguna (12-12) 79-65 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Obradoiro CAB. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 49-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. They outrebounded Obradoiro CAB 34-22 including 21 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for the former international power forward Ricardo Guillen (205-76) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Albert Sabat (187-85) contributed with 12 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four La Laguna players scored in double figures. The former international center Oriol Junyent (207-76) replied with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Argentinian-Italian guard Javier Bulfoni (192-76) added 14 points in the effort for Obradoiro CAB. Obradoiro CAB will play next round against Leche Rio Breogan trying to make it back to the top of the standings. La Laguna will try to continue on its current victory against seventeenth ranked Lobe Huesca on the road.
