Regular Season Round 26: DongGuan L. - Guangsha L. 110-100

An interesting game for DongGuan Leopards (20-4) which hosted in DongGuan 4th ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (14-11). Second ranked DongGuan Leopards managed to get a 10-point victory 110-100. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. The game without a history. DongGuan Leopards led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Nigerian guard Josh-Emmanuel Akognon (180-86, college: Cal.St. Fullerton) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American-Lebanese power forward Jackson Vroman (208-81, college: Iowa St.) contributed with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American-Puerto Rican center Peter John Ramos (222-85) replied with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 16 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and the former international forward Bo Wang (202-82) added 19 points and 4 steals in the effort for Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. Five DongGuan Leopards and four Zhejiang Guangsha Lions players scored in double figures. DongGuan Leopards have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 20-4 record having just three points less than leader Xinjiang. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions at the other side dropped to the fifth place with 11 games lost. DongGuan Leopards are looking forward to face Liaoning Hunters (#10) in Yingkou in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions' supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Hangzhou to the arena Zhejiang Cyclones.
