Regular Season Round 27: Zhejiang CB - Guangsha L. 102-97

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Hangzhou: Zhejiang Cyclones (#8) and Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (#5). Zhejiang Cyclones (13-12) won against visiting Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (14-12) 102-97. The hosts trailed by 14 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 5 points. Zhejiang Cyclones outrebounded Zhejiang Guangsha Lions 47-36 including 17 on the offensive glass. 29 personal fouls committed by Zhejiang Guangsha Lions helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American forward Marcus Williams (201-86, college: Arizona, agency: ZAG Advocates) who led his team to a victory scoring 53 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. International center Jinhui Ding (204-90) helped adding 11 points and 13 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American-Puerto Rican center Peter John Ramos (222-85) with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds and the former international forward Bo Wang (202-82) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zhejiang Cyclones maintains eighth place with 13-12 record. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions at the other side dropped to the sixth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Bayi. Zhejiang Cyclones are looking forward to face Liaoning Hunters (#10) in Yingkou in the next round. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will have a break next round.
