Extraliga top team - Nitra (23-8) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Inter Bratislava (10-21) 102-65. The game without a history. Nitra led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Inter Bratislava's 34. Nitra forced 28 Inter Bratislava turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Inter Bratislava helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard J.J. Montgomery (196-82, college: Arkansas St.) scored 30 points and 5 steals (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Ronald Moore (183-88, college: Siena) chipped in 15 points during the contest. Inter Bratislava at the other side stay at the bottom place with 21 games lost. Nitra are looking forward to face Levice (#4) on the road in the next round. Inter Bratislava will play against Vahostav-Zilina (#6) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
