Leader KAOD delivered the fifteenth victory. This time they beat 11th ranked Olimpiada (6-10) 83-70 in Patras. The game was mostly controlled by KAOD. Olimpiada was better in fourth quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KAOD dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Olimpiada's 40. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin center Ljubo Jovanovic (206-87) who helped to win the game recording 21 points. Power forward Vageli Margaritis (202-82) contributed with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Four KAOD players scored in double figures. Center Apostolos Koutroulias (206-76) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Sakis Veskoukis (195-80) added 18 points in the effort for Olimpiada. KAOD (15-1) have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Olimpiada lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with ten games lost. KAOD will play against Lavrio (#4) at home in the next round. Olimpiada will play against AGOR (#3) in Rethymno and hopes to get back on the winning track.
