Regular Season Round 25: Sportino - Sokol Lancut 66-82

The game between third ranked ISS Sportino (17-7) and fourth ranked Sokol Lancut (18-7) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. ISS Sportino was defeated by Sokol Lancut in Inowroclaw 66-82. The game was mostly controlled by Sokol Lancut. ISS Sportino managed to win fourth quarter 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sokol Lancut made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by ISS Sportino helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Marcel Wilczek (200-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds. Power forward Wojciech Zurawski (199-76) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and center Aleksander Lichodzijewski (202-84) added 13 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for ISS Sportino. Four ISS Sportino players scored in double figures. Sokol Lancut moved-up to third place. ISS Sportino at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with MMKS DG. Sokol Lancut are looking forward to face MKS Znicz Basket (#9) in Pruszkow in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. ISS Sportino will play on the road against the league's second-placed Rosasport (#2) in Radom and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
