Very expected game when 7th ranked Akita Happinets (10-25) were defeated on the road by first ranked Osaka Evessa (22-13) 85-74 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Osaka Evessa. Akita Happinets was better in fourth quarter 29-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Osaka Evessa looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Osaka Evessa made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was American forward Lynn Washington (200-78, college: Indiana) who scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import swingman William Knight (196-79, college: UCLA) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds.
