Regular Season Round 21: Hapoel T-A - Hapoel Beeri 103-77

National League top team - Hapoel T-A (20-1) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Hapoel Beeri (7-14) in Tel-Aviv 103-77. The game was mostly controlled by Hapoel T-A. Hapoel Beeri managed to win fourth quarter 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hapoel T-A looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Hapoel Beeri's players. It was a good game for Jamaican-American power forward Adrian Uter (201-84, college: Hofstra, agency: Gross Zeev ISA) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds. Swingman Elad Eliyah (193-85) contributed with 28 points for the winners. Hapoel T-A's coach Sharon Avrhami felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Daniel Aidan (204-89) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds and forward Haiim Barbi (197-89) added 24 points and 5 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) in the effort for Hapoel Beeri. Hapoel T-A have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Hapoel T-A maintains first place with 20-1 record. Hapoel Beeri at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with 14 games lost. Hapoel T-A are looking forward to face league's second-placed Maccabi HBK in Habikaa in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hapoel Beeri will play at home against Elitzur Yavne (#3) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
