Regular Season Round 10: Ulcinj - OKK Beograd 87-79

The most important game in the last round took place in Ulcijn between second ranked Serbian OKK Beograd (5-3) and fourth ranked Montenegrin Ulcijn (4-4) on Tuesday night. OKK Beograd was defeated by Ulcijn in a tough game on the road 79-87. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But OKK Beograd won third quarter 23-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ulcijn dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to OKK Beograd's 32. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by OKK Beograd's players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Milos Djurisic (194-88) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Marko Mijovic (188-87) contributed with 13 points and 7 assists for the winners. Ulcijn's coach Vladimir Tausan used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Dragan Zekovic (210-87, agency: Interperformances) replied with 23 points and guard Slobodan Dundjerski (190-88, agency: Alti Sport) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for OKK Beograd. Four Ulcijn and five OKK Beograd players scored in double figures. Ulcijn moved-up to third place in Group A, which they share with Rilski Sportist. OKK Beograd at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
