The game between Top Four teams took place in Andorra. 3rd placed host River Andorra (16-6) lost to first ranked CB Clavijo (18-3) 73-69. The guests were ahead by 5 points but lost the second period ending it with a 10-point deficit before their 29-15 run, which allowed them to win the game. River Andorra was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for center David Mesa (200-80) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Center Sidnei De Santana (215-83) accounted for 8 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. Four CB Clavijo players scored in double figures. Swingman Pablo Sanchez (197-81) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and American guard James Holmes (188-83, college: S.Florida) added 22 points respectively for River Andorra in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for CB Clavijo. They maintain first place with 18-3 record. River Andorra at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. CB Clavijo will play against Prat Juventud (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. River Andorra will have a break next round.
