Thirteenth-ranked Jilin Tigers (10-19) gave a tough game to sixth ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (16-12) in Hangzhou. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions managed to secure only two-point victory 105-103. However their fans expected much easier game. Jilin Tigers cut a 13-point halftime deficit to two at the end of the game. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Jilin Tigers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American-Puerto Rican center Peter John Ramos (222-85) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 21 rebounds. The former international forward Bo Wang (202-82) contributed with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American swingman Tim Pickett (193-81, college: Florida St.) replied with 32 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Jameel Watkins (211-77, college: Georgetown) added 17 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Jilin Tigers. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Jilin Tigers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Zhejiang C. Jilin Tigers lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with 19 games lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions' next round opponent will be Beijing Ducks (#7) on the road. Jilin Tigers will play against Liaoning Hunters (#11) in Yingkou.
