Regular Season Round 30: Beijing Ducks - Zhejiang CB 94-101

The most interesting game of round 30 was a home defeat of 7th ranked Beijing Ducks (15-13) to fifth ranked Zhejiang Cyclones (16-12) 101-94. The guests trailed by 17 points at the halftime before their 56-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Zhejiang Cyclones made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Beijing Ducks turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Beijing Ducks helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Marcus Williams (201-86, college: Arizona, agency: ZAG Advocates) had a triple-double by scoring 45 points (!!!), 11 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward Josh Boone (208-84, college: Connecticut) chipped in 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Zhejiang Cyclones players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) with a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!), 20 rebounds and 4 blocks and Jordanian forward Zaid Abbaas (203-83) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Zhejiang Cyclones have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 16-12 record, which they share with Zhejiang G.L. Beijing Ducks at the other side keep the seventh place with 13 games lost. Zhejiang Cyclones is looking forward to face league's leader Xinjiang Flying Tige in Urumqi in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Beijing Ducks will play at home against Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (#6) in Hangzhou and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
