Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Taiwan Mobile and 5th ranked Bank of Taiwan had identical 8-15 record. This time Taiwan Mobile beat the opponent 79-66 on Friday night. The game was mostly controlled by Taiwan Mobile. Bank of Taiwan was better in third quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Bank of Taiwan to just 7 points in second quarter. At the losing side American power forward John Vaudreuil (203-85, college: Minn.-Duluth, agency: Warren Sports International) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and international forward Shun-Hsiang Chen (190-85) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Five Taiwan Mobile and four Bank of Taiwan players scored in double figures. Bank of Taiwan's coach Liang-Chung Lai tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Taiwan Mobile (9-15) moved-up to fifth place. Loser Bank of Taiwan dropped to the sixth position with 16 games lost. Taiwan Mobile will face higher ranked Yulon Luxgen (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bank of Taiwan will play against the league's leader Taiwan Beer.
