An interesting game took place in Lille, where higher ranked Lille Metropole (10-14) lost at home to seventeenth ranked Stade Clermont (6-18) 68-73 on Friday. Lille Metropole was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 18-12 charge of Stade Clermont, which allowed them to win the game. Stade Clermont had a 34-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. Loser Lille Metropole dropped to the twelfth place with 14 games lost. Stade Clermont will face higher ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (#11) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
